State Super

Founded in 1919, State Super has 50 staff, $38 billion in funds under management, and has held its headquarters at 83 Clarence Street, Sydney since 1985. The company recently sold the building and moved from level 16 to new offices on level 21. Urban Core created a unique, purpose-built office space that combined the heritage and history of SAS with a welcoming and distinctive workplace. The design is an “old school meets new school” environment which eschews open planning for discreet executive offices, yet nevertheless keeps a contemporary workspace feel. The fitout included 10 internal executive offices, two separate open workstation areas, eight quiet areas, a 20-person boardroom, a 14-person meeting room, a five-person meeting room, amenities and kitchen.
